Cervical cancer screening

PreventUs supports successful cervical cancer screening by covering the full pathway with user-friendly software, from initial selection through to the result. Together, we ensure high participation, reliable assessment of every test, and national oversight of how effective the programme is.

1 Step 01 / 06

Selection

Based on age and screening history, PreventUs automatically determines who is eligible, and the platform sends the invitation on its own. This prevents a woman from being overlooked because a list wasn't updated.

2 Step 02 / 06

Invitation

Women who are eligible are invited automatically, through the channel that works for them, with a clear reminder if they don't respond. A good invitation translates directly into higher participation.

3 Step 03 / 06

Hybrid sampling

The woman chooses for herself: taking a sample at home, or a smear test at the GP. Lab forms are processed automatically in both cases, making it easier for her to take part without adding an extra administrative step for the organisation.

4 Step 04 / 06

Lab screening

The lab tests each sample for HPV, and the result feeds straight into the platform, so it's clear right away whether a follow-up step is needed.

5 Step 05 / 06

Cytology

If a result is HPV-positive, the pathologist assesses the cells for abnormalities, and PreventUs reports the outcome clearly, so she always knows exactly what her result means.

6 Step 06 / 06

Results

The woman receives her result quickly and securely through the secure client portal, in language she understands.

Data sovereignty within one national platform

A national programme doesn't mean one uniform way of working. Each organisation keeps its data local and stays in control of its own process, while still contributing to a single national picture for reporting and benchmarking.

Global integrations

The platform integrates with existing laboratory and diagnostic systems, for example through HL7 or REST APIs, so organisations can keep the systems they already rely on.
